01

The challenge

Energy Forum Houston ranked below listings sites and a competitor's conference for its own category searches. Paid campaigns filled the gap at a cost that grew every year, and the site was rebuilt by an agency each edition.

02

What changed

The forum moved its site to Expola and used Event SEO to structure the program, speaker and exhibitor pages the way search engines and AI assistants read them. Listings management kept the event's details consistent across the directories that had been outranking it.

Expola is how I can afford extra staff, fix things, and invest in the next edition.

03

The results

The event now ranks first for its twelve target searches and receives around ninety registrations a month from search without paid campaigns. Ticket sales grew by $48,000 across the first two editions on Expola.

Hundreds of registrations a month arrive from search now. We did not run a single paid campaign for them.
