Terms of service

Last updated September 1, 2026

Agreement

These terms apply to use of the Expola website and, together with an order form and our data processing agreement, to use of the Expola platform by organizers. By using the site or the platform you agree to them.

The service

Expola provides an event platform including website, ticketing, app, marketing, exhibitor sales and reporting modules as described in the order form. We may update the service and will not materially reduce its core functionality during a subscription term.

Accounts and use

You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information, for keeping credentials secure and for the actions of users you authorise. You must not use the service to send unsolicited messages, to sell tickets for events you are not authorised to sell, or in breach of applicable law.

Fees

Subscription fees are set out in the order form and billed in advance. Payment-processing fees are charged per transaction by the provider and, where Expola Pay is used, passed through at cost plus the rate stated in the order form. There is no per-ticket platform fee.

Data

Organizers own their event data. Expola processes it only to provide the service, under the data processing agreement. You may export your data at any time and for 30 days after termination.

Availability and support

We target 99.9% monthly availability for the platform, excluding scheduled maintenance announced in advance. Support hours and response targets are set out in the order form and extended around your show days.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss, and Expola's total liability under these terms is limited to the fees paid in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or anything that cannot be limited by law.

Term and termination

Subscriptions run for the term in the order form and renew unless either party gives notice as set out there. Either party may terminate for material breach not cured within 30 days of notice.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law stated in the order form, or, for use of the website, by the laws of England and Wales.
