The challenge
Most of the congress's revenue came from companies sending delegations, but the checkout was built for individuals. Delegate managers registered colleagues one by one, requested invoices by email, and often gave up until the week before the event.

What changed
Group and corporate bookings let a delegate manager reserve seats, pay by invoice and add names later from a company portal. Automated reminders nudge the manager to complete names before badge printing, and reporting shows corporate revenue by account.
“Without Expola, I don't think this congress would still exist. That's the truth.”

The results
Group and corporate bookings grew 20% in the first edition, with an average order of $2,500 and 48% of revenue now coming from companies. Because corporate seats are reserved earlier, the congress forecasts its capacity two months sooner than before.
“Corporate buyers do not want to register twelve people one at a time. Now they don't have to, and they book earlier because of it.”
