Show floor

What is floor plan software?

Event floor plan software renders the layout of a show floor — halls, aisles, stands and features — as an interactive plan rather than a drawing. For the organizer it is a sales surface; for the visitor it is a map; for the exhibitor it is proof of what they bought.

One plan, three audiences

The sales team needs availability, holds and pricing. Visitors need to find a company and route to it on a phone. Exhibitors need to see their own stand, their neighbours and the aisle they face. All three should read the same plan, because a plan maintained in three places disagrees with itself within a week.

Drawing versus data

A plan exported as an image is a snapshot; it is out of date the moment a stand sells. A data-backed plan carries stand numbers, sizes, zones, prices and status, so the picture is generated from the truth instead of being kept in step with it by hand.

What it should tell you afterwards

Once the show is over, the plan is the best report you have: revenue per square metre by zone, footfall by aisle, leads scanned by stand. That is what tells you how to price the floor next edition.
